Portraitor ("we", "our", "us") is a service operated by Project Fifty4. This policy explains what information we handle when you use portraitor.ai (the "Service"), why, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
When you upload or paste a chat for analysis, the text is sent to our servers and immediately forwarded to Google Gemini to generate your Portrait. We do not permanently store your conversation content on our servers — it is processed transiently and discarded once your Portrait is produced.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this only to identify your account and send your Portrait.
Payments are handled directly by Stripe. We receive only a confirmation and a transaction ID — we never see or store your full card details.
Your Portrait history (the conversations you analyse and the results) is saved in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us unless you choose to share it. Clear your browser data and it's gone for good.
Our servers may log IP addresses, browser type, and access times for security and diagnostics. These logs are kept for a limited period (see retention below).
Portraitor depends on a small number of third parties, each governed by their own privacy policy:

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We explain exactly how to use each of these on the Your Data Rights page. You can also email hello@portraitor.ai — we respond within 30 days.
We use HTTPS for all data in transit, authenticate via Google Sign-In, keep no permanent server-side copy of your conversation, and review our security regularly. No method of transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States where Google and Stripe operate. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses.
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
